Kratos wants the gold in the NWA, and a match with Tyrus is the way to get it.
In an interview with WrestleZone, Kratos was asked to name the opponents on his list, and he immediately pointed to NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus, as he made it clear that he wants to win the world title.
“Tyrus,” Kratos said. “He’s got what I want, man, so that’s the goal for me.”
When asked to describe what winning the gold would mean to him, Kratos emphasized that it would be “everything”, as it would be the cherry on top to all of the hard work. He stated that his goal is to be the top guy in a major promotion, and he would greatly appreciate the chance to do that with the NWA.
“It would be it. That’s the reason why… my goal was to be with top promotions, is to be a household name in top promotions,” Kratos said. “So to be a top guy and to have earned it, it would mean a lot to me. It would be everything.
“It would be a cherry on top to all the hard work, and to just be given that opportunity to know that they believe in me and they see the potential, they see a guy that can represent the company and do well by it and put on great matches and take this company to where it’s never been. So I’m looking forward to it because when it happens, it’ll be a good time.”
Kratos will face Yabo the Clown at NWA 312 , which will air on FITE at 10 p.m. ET on April 7. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
