When we mentioned that Asuka was considered as one of the best in-ring performers in WWE, male or female, it was with good reason. Her run in NXT saw her face the up-and-comers of the WWE Women’s division. It was clear that the women’s division had an incredible pool of talent and the women’s revolution was picking up serious steam.
Asuka, from her debut, managed to have great matches with practically everyone. Of course, when facing top competitors like Bayley and Ember Moon, it was taken to a whole new level, but her series of matches before and during her championship reign is going to be looked at in retrospect as one of the most incredible string of matches that any competitor has had in WWE.
