#3.) Record title reigns in NJPW
When Anderson teamed with Giant Bernard, they had only one run as champions together, but what a run it was. Together, they embarked on what turned out to be a mammoth 564-day title reign, which was the longest in NJPW history up to that point. It still remains the longest NJPW Tag Team title run ever.
With Luke Gallows, he would go on to have multiple runs that spanned around 600 days. This makes Anderson the third longest reigning tag team champion in NJPW. No gaijin is even close to his record (and it’s likely going to stay that way for a while).
