#5.) vs AJ Styles – SmackDown September 2018
Almas’ most exciting match on the main roster in 2018 was against then-WWE Champion AJ Styles. Styles had just made his entrance and before he could even turn around, he was attacked from behind by the young upstart Almas. The bell would ring and Almas would continue to take advantage until Styles managed to fight back and got some time to breathe.
After this, Styles took control and in one of the most innovative finishes in a while, Styles had a rather unique roll-up-to-Styles Clash type of move. It was incredible and though Almas didn’t win, his efforts were valiant.
