Mustafa Ali is not only an extremely talented superstar, but he’s an extremely marketable star as well. Coming from a diverse background of Indian and Pakistani descent, Ali has always been vocal about things like equality and humanity. He’s simply a great human being, and it reflects in his character as well.
Nothing needs to be said about his in-ring style, because fans know exactly how good Ali is (and can be). Ali has a lot of time in hand, and he can slowly start exploring his character and show new dimensions to it that we haven’t seen before. From the look of things, WWE seems to recognize Ali’s potential as well.
