#3.) The chance for a new direction
The New Day have undoubtedly been one of the most entertaining acts on WWE television for years now. It’s incredible to think of how long they’ve been together as a trio, and even more impressive given that they’ve had a consistent 3 years as babyfaces. However, Xavier Woods and Big E have stated on more than one occasion that their goal is to make sure Kofi Kingston becomes World Champion at some point.
Kofi winning the WWE title would present a chance for a new direction for The New Day. Woods and Big E could continue as a tag team while Kingston shines as a singles star. Even if they were to break up, they could do it in a different way. Rather than having one member turn on the other, they could have them actually break up on good terms.
It could be the start of something fresh for The New Day.
