You read that right. It’s hard to ever imagine someone saying that Triple H needs a win, especially after his years of dominance inside the squared circle. Plus, with all the accusations about using “the shovel”, it’s even harder to make a case.
However, we’re going to go out on a limb to say that Triple H has done a good job putting people over at WrestleMania in the last few years. Sure, Sting should have won at WrestleMania 31, but after that, Triple H has faced three consecutive losses, putting over three major younger superstars.
It wouldn’t make sense if Triple H kept losing every year, so this is a match where he can win and people won’t really complain about it.
