Drew McIntyre is largely considered as the favorite to walk out holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. It’s no surprise that he is because there are quite a few competitors who have already held the briefcase. With those names instantly being out of the picture, there are also younger stars featured – stars who are clearly not ready for that step up just yet.
One man who 100% is ready, however, is Drew McIntyre. While he had a slow start to 2019, he has picked his momentum back up and this should be the year where he breaks out into the main event scene. He doesn’t have to win the Universal Championship this year, but holding the briefcase would instantly make him a major threat and establish him as the main eventer that he’s always deserved to be.
