This isn’t a guarantee, but it’s something that could help generate serious interest in the long run and prevent AEW from losing novelty. Of course, pre-taping television and airing it weekly is easy, but like many other TV shows, there ideally should be a period where there’s no TV tapings or PPVs going on.

It’ll help to rest the talent while also giving them time to go and work other obligated independent dates. More than anything, fans will have a sense of anticipation when waiting for the “new season”, so to speak. We understand that with WWE it can never happen because it’s a wheel that keeps on spinning, but AEW could do something different in that regard. It may make the talent more motivated as well.
