#2.) Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz – No Mercy 2016

This was an Intercontinental title match that should have main evented the show but didn’t. The stakes were high as they could be as Ziggler put his career on the line for one final Intercontinental Championship opportunity against The Miz, who was in the midst of the best Intercontinental title reign in many years.

Ziggler was a true babyface who had to fight the odds, whether it was Maryse or his old partners from The Spirit Squad. The crowd reaction was deafening and the pop that Ziggler got when the referee’s hand hit three was unreal. It was truly a great story and while they didn’t run with it, it was still an unforgettable moment.
