Daniel Bryan’s monumental journey at WrestleMania XXX started with a major roadblock in the form of Triple H. The Game had been the main reason that Bryan hadn’t been WWE Champion and held him back as much as he possibly could. He represented the Authority that Bryan had fought long and hard to overcome and Bryan demanded to face him at WrestleMania.
The added stipulation was that the winner would enter the WrestleMania main event. Bryan and Triple H one of, if not the greatest openers in WrestleMania history in a bout that kept everyone at the edge of their seats. Triple H himself stated in an interview later that he had never worked so hard to make someone look so good.
