Stars In Progress…Henry As Champ?, Del Rio, Bully Ray, More

ADR is Back!

One Gold Step Up

Alberto Del Rio had a good return this past Monday on Raw.  He was given a lot more air time then we're used to seeing out of the WWE Champion and he did well with it.  His interaction with the superstars from both Raw and Smackdown backstage was typical as he tried to persuade anyone that had problems with John Cena in the past to do his dirty work, but it gave us a chance to see why WWE management believes in him so much.

I received a lot of emails and Twitter comments regarding the end of Raw and how Cena seemed to get the best of ADR with relative ease.  Personally, that doesn't bother me much anymore.  It happens so often these days, I've grown ammune to it and I think the victims of Cena's "untouchability" might have as well.

No one has gotten the better of John Cena consistently in two years.  Del Rio isn't going to be the one that changes that.  Luckily, I don't think it matters that much anymore.  As long as ADR wins when the title is on the line, that's the best you can ask for at this point.

Alberto Del Rio is a unique Champion and a breath of fresh air for me.  Whether or not he will ever reach that upper echelon of talent for and actually stay there for any extended period of time is unknown, but that's entirely up to Vince McMahon.  In my opinion, Del Rio certainly has the necessary skill set to achieve it.

I'm not a 100% believer in ADR yet, but he's definitely growing on me and it was nice to have the Champ back on Raw this week.

Unitl next week, follow me on Twitter @RealityofChris and be sure to catch my review of TNA's "No Surrender" pay per view on Monday afternoon.  Monday evening I will be back with a live edition of the Voice of Wrestling radio show from 7-8 EST.  You can email me as well at wzchriscash@yahoo.com.

I also want to take the time to remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks ten years ago.  It was a very sad day in American history and my thoughts go out to those that suffered as a result of the attacks.
