WrestleZone Top Ten: TNA Debuts

Number 5: Kevin Nash: November 7, 2004

Victory Road in 2004 produced Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, a rewind into the premiere days of professional wrestling. Nash, not seen in over two years, would join TNA to try and keep his career alive. He joined TNA, took a hiatus, came back in 2006, and began to cash the checks. He has always been a great businessman, a money maker, and Nash is a guy who knows an opportunity when he sees it. He would immediately be in a feud with Jeff Jarrett, who was the number one guy at the time. He got everything he wanted and more. Nash’s debut to TNA was not like WCW, but it made an impact, a statement, and made fans remember the great moments we have had over the years. It did not hurt TNA, but it did not help them much either in the long run.
