Kurt AngleThe Stories

Kurt Angle and Sting defeated DOC and Devon via Disqualification. This tag team match is to set up the big confrontation for Turning Point. The match was alright, but the action did not flow as well as I expected. Doc looked pretty good, considering he was able to keep up with a quicker opponent in Kurt Angle. After German Suplexes and body slams, Angle and Sting took the advantage to the final minutes of the match. The end of the match needed to be meaningful, and Devon attacked Sting and struck him with a baseball bat. Even though Sting is not in a match at Turning Point, he has always been a big target because of his name. The logical reason is because Aces and Eights wanted to attack the big names to make themselves more important. Good logic, but the match is with Bully Ray and Devon, not Sting. There is more of a personal feud, a long withstanding history between the two. I still feel like Bully Ray may turn on TNA, but that is just a gut feeling. As Sting is attacked and lying motionless, there is alot you can do with that. My biggest concern is that they will rush Sting back, again. For Turning Point, I really am not interested in Doc vs. Joseph Park, as there is not much that both men can do with one another. They are way too similar in styles and tactics in the ring, and I fear that it will be slow and drawn out. Give me someone else instead of Park. Bring Abyss back and put the mask on him. That interests me more. Grade: B-

Christian York Gets A Contract

I was impressed with him a week ago, and feel like he can work with alot of great guys in TNA. My only concern is that there are already so many unestablished guys in the company, so why add another? Grade: C
