Mt. Killamanjaro: TNA Final Resolution Preview – Calling the Swerve!

TNA Final Resolution PPV Preview – @MikeKillam

2012 has been one hell of a year for TNA and Impact Wrestling, but as good as they’ve been many feel – and rightfully so – that the past few months have seen them take a few steps back. Their focus continues to remain on the Aces & Eights, who has continued to expand, but does so without life or any perceived threat to the balance of power in TNA. The World Champion may draw in a modicum of merchandising sales, but the ratings remain complanate and Hardy’s inability to cut a promo has resulted in a strange, inner-monologue that may have been unique on paper, but isn’t delivering results. Still, the TNA roster continues to have a far superior main event product and this week’s Impact broadcast was a marked step in the right direction. If they can continue to focus on the basics – wrestling and simple, focused storylines – they have proven they can deliver, at least for this brief flicker in wrestling history, better than anybody in the business. And with Bobby Roode back on deck for a shot at the World Heavyweight title, and a predictable, yet intriguing turn in the Aces & Eights drama, TNA has all the pieces in place to end 2012 with bang! Let’s take a look…
