SheamusThe Undercard Part Two

Sheamus loses to 3MB in an over the top rope challenge. I was thrown off by this match and the outcome. So, Sheamus loses to 3 guys who have nothing else to do besides play air guitar? Instead of Sheamus ( a legit contender in the Royal Rumble match) winning, you give three mid carders at best the victory. This upset me and made no sense for the future. Grade: D

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage Match. This was the main event of the night in terms of wrestling, and it was pretty solid. I thought the action in the ring was what you would expect from a veteran like Cena and a rising star like Dolph. Ziggler was the one that had the upper hand, to a point where he connected with an absolutely beautiful DDT from the top rope. I thought the intelligence and psychology in the match was off, especially with Big E trying to keep Cena in. Is Cena really scared to climb a cage because Big E has a chair? Also, why wouldn't Cena drop himself when Big E had his foot? Where is the common sense in the match? I will overlook it, because that is what I try to do in FAKE WRESTLING, but times like these I scratch my head and wonder if they read this crap before they see it happen. We had the drama, the close pinfalls, and we had the two men lay it out. At the end of the match, Cena came back with his usual flurry of moves and beat Ziggler, defying the odds of Big E and AJ Lee. Cena wins, and yet Ziggler continues to be the bigger story. He gets a huge win at WWE TLC, but he cannot get a victory on free television for the world to see? You need the 4.5 million that watch Raw see him thrive, or he will never be sold as a legit World Heavyweight Champion. Plain and simple. Grade: B-
