Bully RayThe Main Events

Throughout the night, Hulk Hogan was with Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan. Brooke wants Bully Ray to get a title shot, and Hulk is objective. I really am still waiting to see the final payoff with this whole story. Will Brooke and Bully be leaders of Aces and Eights when the time is right? This has Attitude Era Triple H and Stephanie written all over it, but only when 1/6 of the people are watching.

-I also am very annoyed with TNA and how their champion is not seen in three weeks. I understand the point of him not able to be in the U.K. but isn't that something you need to plan ahead with? It is not like they booked this trip a month ago. Yes, they have much more talent, but Hardy is the CHAMPION. HE IS YOUR NUMBER ONE GUY! Oh, that's right, Hulk is in charge huh? Well, this makes sense then. Let Hogan try and be the main story time and time again, but bury all the younger guys and worry more about himself than the man that sells the most merchandise and makes your company money.

Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode ended in No Contest. This was the final match of the "Number 1 Contender Tournament." The match was great between the Tag Champions, and was a nice twist from the predictable main event. Both guys know how to work with one another, and it proved to pay off in my eyes. These are your BEST talents. Plain and simple. Both men climb to the top rope for a big move, but Aries ends up missing a 450 Splash. The comedy and intelligence with two completely different heels in this match was perfect. They were able to counter each other, reverse suplexes, and get near pinfalls. The flow of the match seemed easy and transitions became smooth each time. Both men end up getting counted out when they are distracted by Hernandez and Chavo wearing Aries and Roode's merchandise.

Grade: B+ Smart, unique, and keeps storylines alive.

-The end of the night had Hulk Hogan in the ring about to announce who will fight Jeff Hardy at Lockdown. Instead, the ring gets surrounded by the members of Aces and Eights. Bully Ray limps down, and then Sting comes out with Baseball Bats. The show ends with Ray staring down Devon. Is this a foreshadow on the heel turn of Bully Ray? I feel like that time is coming. How long can they keep each episode ending the exact same way?
