Impact WrestlingThe Undercard

Taryn Terrell defeated Tara in the first match of the night from Indiana, PA. Terrell is smoking hot but she is still very green in the ring. If you pair her with a veteran like Tara, she will learn quickly. Terrell wins again with a rollup. It seems like every single week Terrell wins with a rollup. I am not completely impressed with the ring work, the technique, and the chemistry Terrell has shown us, but she is slightly improving each week. That is a plus for the Knockouts Division.

Grade: C

Rob Terry defeated Jesse Godderz. The match was okay between these two. Terry is an absolute monster in terms of size. He continues to improve and work on his speed. He has the strength and the look, so now he needs to work on putting it all together. I am just not a fan of Jesse. He seems like he tries too hard to get his character over, does not seem realistic, and is rough in the ring. He has no flow to his offense and takes bumps like an amateur.

Grade: C

Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez defeated Bobby Roode and Austin Aries.

Once again, these four guys put on a great match for the crowd. I love the Tilt-a-whirl DDT that came right after a Three Amigos from Chavo. He continues to be "Mr. Consistency" in the ring. Hernandez and Roode got the hot tags and Hernandez clothesline him and really looked powerful. The finish of the match came when Roode hit a spinebuster, but they missed a 450 Splash and Chavo hits his Frog Splash for the win.

-Bad Influence is trying to get Fortune back together, so they tried to help Bobby Roode win this match. Instead, they get involved and distract their former comrad. I like the idea of Daniels and Kazarian trying to fight off Aces and Eights by forming their own heel stable. It is more of a comedic thing for me, but could really help some mid talent guys stay relevant.

Velvet Sky defeated Mickie James to retain the Knockouts Championship

James is in control of the match until ODB tells her to back off, as she is doing her referee duties. James gets upset, while Sky rolls her up for a victory. It was a decent match from the beginnning, but took a step backwards in a few instances.

James teased a heel turn a week ago, but shakes hands with Sky before the match. She needs to become her own character and really take the character change full fledged. We all know how good she is as a heel. The only reason she isn't is because of her country album, plain and simple.
