Daniel BryanThe Main Event

-Triple H starts the show by stripping Daniel Bryan of the WWE Championship. Triple H brings out Scott Armstrong who whispers to Bryan "they caught us." Bryan looks at him in disbelief and confusion. Triple H makes the title vacant and Randy Orton comes out. After a much heated conversation, Bryan gets hit with an RKO and Triple H grabs the belt. After this, Stephanie McMahon screams at Orton about what happened Sunday. She questions if he has the ability to be the face of the WWE. Later in the night, Orton responds.

Randy Orton vs. The Miz ended in No Contest. Orton and Miz brawled all over the ring, inside and out. With Miz in his hometown, we caught many shots of his parents upset and his mother crying. Orton and Miz exchanged blows and this fight went on longer than I expected. Orton his a hanging DDT from the barricade and then used a chair to put Miz out of his misery. Orton taps into his aggressive and wild side. Props to Miz, as he kept the face and matched Orton's aggressiveness and intensity. This was excellent because Orton needs to tap into that heel character. This is what we all need to see him do each week. He cannot be a guy who tries to talk his way out of situations.

Daniel Bryan defeated Roman Reigns in the main event of the night. With Bryan and Reigns, you expected Bryan to be beaten down throughout. That is basically what happened, but WWE gave Bryan much more offense that I expected. Roman Reigns is going to be REALLY good. He is strong and fast, elusive and intelligent. He hits a beastly clothesline onto Bryan and a modified Samoan Drop. As Bryan finally got to his feet, he hit multiple kicks to Reigns. At the end of the night, Bryan won when Orton interfered. The Shield looks to attack Daniel Bryan as well, but Prime Time Players, Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder, R-Truth, Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston, Justin Gabriel, and The Uso's came out to help Bryan. Justice was served to Orton and The Hounds of Justice. For tonight, WWE finally took a positive step in the storyline. They included the roster, included faces who need exposure, and still focused it around Daniel Bryan.
