4/13 Wrestlezone Recap: Evolution Reunion, WrestleMania Fallout, #CancelNancyGrace, New World Champions, EY vs. D-Bry and more

Sorry About That…

StingIt seems the wrestling news world has been a bit confused this week. Several false reports came out of the Wrestling Observer, all proclaiming varying levels of breaking news for the WWE. The first was news of Sting finally singing a contract with the WWE. As it turns out, a deal between the two parties has been reached, the company sent him a contract, but "The Icon" just hasn't signed it yet. So nothing is officially set in stone just yet. This is only the third or fourth time since February that I've heard "Sting is definitely coming to WWE" and been disappointed by a lack of concrete evidence. As has been the case for 3-4 years now, I'll believe it when I see him on television.

The second rumor was that Vickie Guerrero parted ways with the company following WrestleMania 30. Vickie says she's still around. I have no personal opinion on this one either way.

And finally, Darren Young isn't injured. So everyone can breath a sigh of relief that he will…still not be used on television? Sorry Darren.

R.I.P. The Ultimate Warrior

Unfortunately, the news surrounding the death of The Ultimate Warrior was not misinterpreted or blatantly false. The brand new WWE Hall of Famer did indeed pass away last week at the age of 54, just two nights removed from WrestleMania 30, and less than 24 hours after his return to Monday Night Raw. We dedicated our entire Wrestlezone Top Ten list to Warrior this week – check it out.
