Title This: WWE Raw Reaction “Last Stop Before Battleground”

The Main Events

wwe raw reactionChris Jericho cuts a great promo about everything he has accomplished in the WWE. He turns his attention to Bray Wyatt, who he says is different than anyone he has ever faced. He talks about wanting to know why Bray is targeting him. Wyatt cuts his usual deal on the tron and the lights go out. Jericho fends off Harper and Rowan, only to get attacked on the stage by Bray Wyatt.

This feud seems a bit rushed, but I do think it gets extended past Battleground. Jericho’s character can get so much out of Bray for more than one month. The evolution of Jericho’s persona has been great over his career. Bray Wyatt is still great, but there comes a time where he needs to add small things to his personality. He can learn by having a lengthy feud with Jericho. Who better? No, not Kanyon.

Roman Reigns and John Cena vs. Randy Orton and Kane

The action picks up after a commercial break when Reigns gets a clothesline onto Kane and a hot tag to Cena. Rollins hits a spinning heel kick and Orton gets in the ring. The heels begin to work on the lifeless body of Cena. Seth Rollins gets back in and works on Cena’s neck. After three consecutive suplexes, Cena counters with one of his own. Reigns gets the tag and so does Orton. He hits a clothesline into the corner and punches Orton in the face. He hits the elevated kick and is ready for a Superman Punch. Kane and Orton attack Reigns and the match ends in DQ. Cena gets back and Kane hits Orton in the face. Cena tries AA on Kane, but Reigns accidentally spears Cena. Orton hits an RKO onto Kane and poses. Reigns hits a spear and poses on the rope. Cena looks on and Reigns stands tall again.

This should have been expected. Explosions to end the night is never a bad thing. I would have rather seen Reigns spear Cena on purpose and standing tall. Either way, all four men looked good. John Cena walks out as champion, but how does it all come to pieces on Sunday?
