Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Nostalgia Rules NYC”

Bobby Roode and Eric Young defeated MVP and Kenny King

impact wrestling reactionMVP plays such a cowardly heel to perfection. He gets the tag when Bobby Roode was out of the ring and then tries to scurry away. MVP tags in King and then he brawls with Young. MVP comes in and hits a few knees to his chest. With more quick tags, the heels are in control. Young reverses a superplex by tossing King to the mat and hitting a cross body. Roode gets the tag and explodes into King. Roode hits a spinebuster and is ready to lock a Crossface onto MVP. King breaks it up and all hell breaks loose. MVP grabs his crutch and whacks Roode with it.

I liked this segment because the feud is no longer Young vs. MVP. This is all about Roode trying to get his retribution, with Young being the sidekick. We all know that Roode is excellent in the ring, as we have seen his growth from Beer Money to a world champion. The heels act cowardly and act with no remorse. TNA needs to draw out Roode trying to get his hands on MVP. Tease it until a match at Destination X. I would love to see that.

Madison Rayne defeated Brittany

There was no DQ in this match. Brittany locks in an armbar on the top rope. Rayne hits a baseball slide to the outside and attacks Brittany on the stage. Brittany reverses a Piledriver with a back body drop on the stage. They brawl inside and outside of the ring until Rayne hits an overhead suplex. Rayne hits a Cradle DDT for the win.

It was not the smoothest and cleanest match I have ever seen, but I thought TNA did the right thing in letting them brawl inside and outside of the ring. The action was interesting throughout the match and, although I thought Brittany should win, Rayne gets some bit of revenge.
