Title This: TNA Impact Wrestling Reaction “A New Legend Killer is Born”

The Great Sanada defeated Austin Aries

tna impact wrestling reactionSanada has face paint similar to Goldust or Muta. Either way, he is a new man, thanks to James Storm. Sanada unloads punches and jams his knee into Aries’ throat. He chops down Aries and locks in a head lock. Aries is finally able to get on the offensive. He hits a reverse neckbreaker onto the second rope. Aries hits a Suicide Dive and then heads to the top. He hits a dropkick from the top, but Sanada counters with a big boot. Aries hits a discus forearm and a full speed corner dropkick. He tries to hit the Brianbuster, but he bit the finger of Aries. Both men are on the top rope and Aries smacks his ears and sends him to the mat. James Storm shakes the ropes and Sanada hits the Green Mist. He connects with a big kick and picks up the win.

Very good match. Is there ever a bad match with Aries? The Great Sanada needed the win, which they are saying is reborn. Austin Aries, rather upset, is a good target to lose tonight. It seems like Aries can lose multiple times and not be harmed. He is always going to be over with the crowd. Either way, Aries has been great for this company and he can do it all. The Great Sanada and James Storm… where is the payoff?

Chris Melendez is Welcomed into the Impact Wrestling Family

Kurt Angle comes in and says what he did was at the Olympics fails to compare to what he did. Anderson, who talks about the Wounded Warrior Project, talks about Melendez wanting to be a wrestler. Anderson talks about Team 3D having a ring to train talent. They talk about their story and how Chris came to be in TNA. Devon welcomes him to the roster and he is going to be a wrestler for TNA.

Emotional moment. Sometimes, they need to have this realism in a fake sport to feel like the fans can really connect. There is not much else to say besides wishing the best for him and I hope he gets a legit shot and is not used as just a ploy. Be ready for “Anti-American” heels, as well as comments about his amputated leg. It will happen and, if he is okay with it, you should be too.

Team 3D defeated The Wolves and The Hardy’s

Bully Ray hits a body slam onto Davey. Devon goes up top to hit the flying head butt, but Eddie kicks Devon in the head. Matt Hardy gets involved and chops away at The Wolves. Whisper in the Wind onto both Wolves gives the brothers an upper hand. Bully Ray gets in the ring and clears it. Reverse double neckbreaker from Team 3D allows for a two count. Devon unloads lefts and rights onto Eddie. Matt Hardy tags himself in and then Jeff gets in the ring. A few double teaming moves and The Wolves are in trouble. Devon gets taken to the outside, thanks to Eddie bending the rope down. After plenty of reversals, The Wolves duck a clothesline and hit two suicide dives. Jeff flies to the outside and now it is Matt’s time. He hits an incredible moonsault to take everyone out. The Wolves hit a kick to Devon and both head to the top. One footstomp, followed by another. Bully Ray breaks up the count. Jeff Hardy gives Ray a clothesline and a double boot up the ramp. Davey heads up top and misses a stomp. Matt hits a Twist of Fate. Bully Ray pulls him out and Jeff hits Swanton Bomb.  3D out of nowhere gives Team 3D the victory.

Excellent. This was an excellent main event of Impact. What can you dislike about 3 teams really giving it their all. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are on the top of their game, even at an extended age! Have they gotten better and better? Matt knows how to take care of his body. His best decision, career wise, has to be taking time for his body to heal and not being on the road 300 days a year. I would love to see tag team wrestling like this be spotlighted in WWE more. The only problem is that they do not have talented tag teams like this. Yes, The Uso’s are good. Who else?
