STEP UP: Dean Ambrose

wwe smackdownThe “Lunatic Fringe” has been great for the Intercontinental title. Say what you will about the way his Fastlane match ended; it’s definitely been worked into the story for the better.  Seeing the results for this week’s Smackdown,

I’m excited for the next step in the program, which may or may not involve another top name. I’m hoping Dean Ambrose is to the WWE I.C. title as Shinsuke Nakamura has been to the IWGP I.C. title over the last year. The key to that happening is top stars the fans are invested in challenging for the belt in lengthy matches, with worthwhile storylines, on a consistent basis. Or, you know, the basic recipe for successful pro wrestling.

STEP DOWN: The Divas

Not to beat a dead horse, but… 30 seconds? Really? That’s less than 0.6% of RAW spent on the Divas champion, her sister, and two potential challengers in the ring.

#GiveDivasaChance. You get it. Blah blah blah. It’s probably never going to happen.
