WZ Mailbag: Chris Benoit Conspiracies, Shield Triple Threat Match, Bull Dempsey’s Future, Who is the Biggest Bust in WWE History?, More

stardustWhat has WWE done to Bull Dempsey and what’s next for him?

Clearly Dempsey is not WWE’s main focus right now so they are sending him down the card, which is really a shame. I think eventually he will be on top of NXT and will debut on the main roster as a monster heel, somewhat like Rusev, especially with his body but for now we are still waiting for the day someone in WWE realizes his talent.

With WWE Management reportedly being very impressed with the Stardust character as of late, do you think the Cody Rhodes character has been retired?

No, in fact they are doing the exact opposite of what you are saying. They have obviously distanced the tag team and now WWE is slowly turning Stardust back into Cody. I think it is for the better as the Stardust character didn’t really fan out well in my eyes. I want to see the heel Cody Rhodes back out there chasing titles and being himself, with WWE using all his potential instead of them having him be a goofy children’s character.

Josh Isenberg also helped answer the following question.

Why do you think some people are “afraid” of calling themselves wrestling fans?

Josh: People are afraid of calling themselves fans of wrestling because some do not think it is “cool.” The argument is always, “wrestling is fake, it’s scripted.” My response is, ” so are television shows and movies.” Wrestling fans are a rare breed, that is for sure. They are passionate, devoted and will put all of their heart into believing something that is based out of entertainment. I have never been afraid to call myself a wrestling fan because I really do not care if people love me or hate me for it. If someone wants to waste their time hating on me because of what I love, then they are not worth a single second of my time.

Max: I completely agree. Wrestling is just as “fake” as any show on E!, but I watch it because of the athleticism the wrestler have, too see those wrestlers risk their lives in the ring, I even watch it to see the weekly comedy written by Vince and his minions, not because I have nothing to do on Monday nights. It is just something some people will never understand including people really close to me, either way I will continue watching it because I love it and won’t stop just because some people can’t support your passion.
