Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw Reaction “All About The Shield”

Back To The Well

wwe rawAnother Raw and another Randy Orton vs. Sheamus match. Not that they are bad, but they are always the same type of match. I do like how WWE is trying to add more aggression to the face character of Randy Orton. Last week, Sheamus got the upper hand. This week, Randy Orton could care less of winning and wanted to inflict pain on Sheamus. With a chair to the stomach and then an RKO, Orton got the last laugh tonight.

I think that Randy Orton has NO CHANCE of winning on Sunday. It has to come down to Sheamus or Roman Reigns, right? Look at Randy Orton with the Money in the Bank briefcase previously. It did so much more for Daniel Bryan than it did for Randy Orton. As much as I like the easy transitions from face to heel for Randy, I am not sure where he goes from here. Could a Wyatt vs. Orton match at SummerSlam take place?

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane

Kane takes control of the match with some shots to Dolph’s chest. Dolph fights back with a dropkick and a hanging DDT. Kane continues the fight to Ziggler, as the crowd chants for Lana. Dolph hits a DDT and gets a two count. Kane is in control heading into a commercial break. Kane sets up a chokeslam, but Dolph hits a superkick. Both men are down and Rusev yells at Lana to come to the back with him. Lana gets tripped up by Rusev and looks to hurt her ankle. Kane grabs the distracted Dolph and chokeslams him for the win.

It was nice to see WWE still utilize Rusev when he is hurt. This is critical to keep him on television in some shape. He is such a polarizing figure and his distraction to Ziggler makes complete sense. I like this and think the slower it builds, the better it will be at the end.
