Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “New Talent, New Team, New Troubles”

Tag Team Main Event

Kofi and Ambrose start off the match. Dean Ambrose with a side headlock to Kingston. Ambrose with a shoulder tackle. Ambrose with a chop to Kofi. Ambrose with a running clothesline. Ambrose tags in Reigns. Ambrose with a running dropkick. Reigns with a flying forearm. Kofi tags in Big E. Big E and Reigns lock up. Big E with a shoulder tackle and dances. Reigns goes for the Samoan Drop. Reigns with a running forearm in the corner. Reigns knocks Kofi to the outside. Big E knocks Reign off the ring apron. Reigns with a headbutt to Big E. Big E charges towards Reigns, but gets sent shoulder first to the ring post. Ambrose is tagged in. Big E is sent over the top rope. Ambrose dives onto Big E in the outside. Big E distracts the referee and Kofi knocks Ambrose off the ring apron. Kofi is tagged in. Kofi with a running dropkick to Ambrose. Ambrose with elbows to the ribs of Kofi. Kofi knocks Ambrose down.

Kofi with the Boom Drop. Kofi goes for the Trouble of Paradise and Ambrose scoots out of the way. Ambrose tags in Reigns. Reigns with two clothesline to Kofi. Reigns with ten forearms to Kofi in the corner. Reigns slams Kofi and Kofi rolls to the outside. Reigns with a running dropkick to Big E who’s on the ring apron and to Kofi who’s on the announce table. Reigns with a big boot to Big E. Reigns with a uppercut to Kofi. Ambrose with a dropkick to Big E. The New Day walk away. The New Day walk back as they run into the Dudley Boyz. Ambrose with a suicide dive to New Day. Ambrose with a clothesline to Big E. Reigns & Ambrose pay tribute to The Legion of Doom as they connect with the Doomsday Device. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Kofi who jumps off the top rope. Reigns with a massive spear to Kofi to pickup the victory. After the match Bray appears on the titantron and is humming. Wyatt tells Reigns to remember that no matter how hard he tries to he can’t out run his fears. Wyatt tells Reigns that he will see him in hell.

I understand wanting Roman and Dean look strong, but they should NOT pin the champions clean tonight. Especially as The New Day heads to Hell in a Cell, it makes no sense for them to lose to a guy who is no longer on the card and another who is inside Hell in a Cell. It just doesn’t make sense. Will Bray and Roman deliver? Hopefully they do more outside of the cage because Brock and Undertaker will be confined ( you would think) to remaining inside and telling a hard story there.

Lastly, Roman needs to win for WWE’s sake, but I want Bray Wyatt to win. In depth predictions will be on Chair Shot Reality this weekend…. Check out Part One Here.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
