Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Charlotte and Seth Steal The Show”

An Epic Promo From Charlotte

charlotte-2-copy-1.jpg

Charlotte comes out with her father and Dana Brooke. She talks about being the best and that she is “The Woman.” Because of this, she talks about how her father was never there for her and she had to see him on television. She said he missed birthdays, graduations and was invisible in her childhood. She goes on to bash her father more and more until he starts crying. She shows absolutely no sympathy and then tells him multiple times to leave her ring and watch her career from home.

Stellar performance from Charlotte tonight. You felt the intensity, the drama and the realism that could be behind some of these words. Charlotte had a successful father, but you know that some of these feelings have been bottled up. I was not surprised to see her turn on her father and it is ABSOLUTELY necessary for Charlotte to do right now.

You need to continue to get her the most heat, the most reaction and what better way than bashing a man beloved by millions every week? With Charlotte, this shows you that she is the John Cena of the Women’s Division, but is extremely technical in the ring. The star is shining bright and this is such a great night for her to continue to be the best overall character in the division.

Booking Dean and Dolph

Dean Ambrose picks up the win against Dolph Ziggler to qualify for Money in the Bank. Not to my surprise, as he comes off a win and Dolph comes off of a loss. When you look at both men, I wonder if Dolph Ziggler will EVER be in a spot to succeed again. Is he going to be used primarily for newer talent to come up and make an impact? I compare him to Chris Jericho, but Jericho is a veteran who does win from time to time. Hell, Dolph did beat Baron last month but is meaningless now. Jericho beat Styles and loses to Ambrose.

Neither of these guys are consistent in their booking. I would almost want to make a case for Ziggler to be placed in a tag team or potentially challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. Dolph has a good run left in him and it could be at the expense of “The New Era.” Wouldn’t he and another “veteran” be great to pair up and take out the new class. I feel like Survivor Series (albeit far away) be more about the youth vs. veterans than anything else.

Dean is Dean. I just have to accept this is how he will be booked, for better or for worse.
