New Opponent For Rusev

Rusev hits Ryder early and often, with a splash into the corner and then a big boot. He applies a headlock and Ryder is able to get to his feet. The Bulgarian Brute hits another knee and then charges in the corner but Ryder gets his knees up. Zack Ryder hits a missile dropkick and forearms in the corner. He gets going and connects with a Broski Boot. He looks to hit the Rough Ryder, but Rusev throws him to the mat, stomps on his back and applies The Accolade.

Rusev blocks the Rough Ryder and sends him to the mat. Rusev applies The Accolade for the win. After the match, he cuts a promo on America. This brings out Titus O’Neil and he talks about how Rusev is not a hero. The crowd gets behind him and then Titus hits a big shot and then Rusev escapes. The former collegiate football player stands tall.

I like how WWE is going to give an opportunity to Titus O’Neil and a feud with Rusev. With more focus on this title with a stronger and more diverse character, Rusev needed someone fresh. He could not go back to a Jack Swagger or a Kalisto. Titus is likable in many ways and has put in plenty of time and effort in toning his skills inside and outside of the squared circle. Will he win the title? Doubtful, but the next few weeks and months could showcase what he is able to do. I am very optimistic about it and think it can benefit both men.

Dana Brooke defeated Natalya

A battle of similar builds, as Brooke faces off against Nattie. Earlier in the night, Stephanie called Charlotte an embarrassment to the division and is ashamed of her. They have a stare off and seemingly planting the seeds for future storylines. In the ring, Brooke took advantage of a wounded Natalya after she had to fend off some offense. Charlotte caused some distraction before Brooke hit her driver finisher for the win.

Nothing too crazy here from the Women’s division aside from everyone against Charlotte, except for Dana Brooke. Dana and Charlotte could be a really good modern day Terri and Jackie. They have the sex appeal, the physical attributes and are still fresh enough to the WWE Universe to make more of an impact on a weekly basis.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
