Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “The Undying Power of The Deadman”

Hype For Goldberg and Lesnar

goldberg-lesnar

Two extensive video packages hyped up the WWE Universal Champion like only WWE could do. As much as I wanted to see both live and feel that they should each week, I understand that a video package can do just as much to get the fans excited. Both men have had unique careers, to say the least. Some similarities and some differences make these two on a crash course for WrestleMania. Next week, it will come to a head where we MUST see Brock Lesnar continue to dominate. Let him get the upper hand once again, which is a backwards way of thinking on the go-home show. We have seen Goldberg only suffer one real knockdown. Why can’t we see him take a few trips to Suplex City, just enough to wet our palettes?

Cruiserweight Hype

Austin Aries picked up a win on WWE RAW tonight, but the interaction with Neville afterwards really helped get him over even more to the live crowd. Neville and Austin Aries are going to put on a clinic, a match that should get a solid 15 minutes of bell to bell action. Expect WWE to really spotlight this on 205 Live and on WWE RAW next week, but more in a competitive way.

I would love to see a tag team contest or 6 man tag team match over them talking. We have too many storylines that are fueled by conversation. Let these guys put on solid matches and push the night further than usual for the Cruiserweights. Enough with the 3-5 minute matches. It is not doing anyone a favor.
