Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “No Number 1 Contender in Sight”

Main Event Tag Team Match

The night focused around The Miz and finding a partner for his match. The main event really was chaotic, with Bray Wyatt appearing and becoming his partner against Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. I am a supporter of The Miz, but I am so confused as to why this was the big storyline heading into a Pay-Per-View when he is not even on the main card. We found out Finn Balor will be a guest on MizTV, but they are using that for the Kickoff Show.

I want to look at all of the positives, but there are more repetitive storylines and matches. The Superstar Shakeup was supposed to freshen things up and hopefully it does after Sunday.

Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar would be fun. Braun Strowman should be Universal Champion. The Miz should be feuding with anyone OTHER than Dean Ambrose. Finn Balor has been used poorly, as well as Samoa Joe. All of these moving pieces are floating in space and not really giving us captivating television. Again, WWE Payback needs to clear these storylines up a bit and move towards finding who will become Number One Contender to the WWE Universal Champion.
