House of Horrors Match

The first ten minutes were Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton fighting in a house with multiple rooms. Creepy decorations all over and both men destroying each other was the name of the game. It ended when Bray Wyatt tipped over a refrigerator onto Orton and leaves in a limo.

Both men come back and get fighting inside of the ring. While both men are really battling back and forth, The Singh Brother and Jinder Mahal get involved. This allows Bray Wyatt to pick up the win.

The match and idea was interesting. It was certainly unique, but it did not really go over well. There were so many illogical things that happened, some that were too hard to believe in a fake sport. They are trying to be creative with Wyatt, but the live crowd got ripped off. The only part that made sense was Mahal’s involvement. I loved that part, especially since I was nervous they were just going to keep him off of the show and wait until Smackdown Live to pick up the feud. Thankfully, they decided to have him appear. A win for Wyatt and next up should be Finn Balor. Orton and Mahal suddenly got even more interesting.

Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe

Seth and Joe was more about Rollins overcoming an injury to his knee. We know the injury has been made, but how many times do we need to spotlight it? Hasn’t he said he is cleared and healthy about 100 percent? Let’s try to move on from that and not have every kick look like Rollins’ knee is going to fall off.

With that gripe out of the way, this was a physical and fun match to watch. The level of importance was not really there, though. We know the backstory, but this match really did not give us an insight on anything aside from Seth Rollins continuing to pile up wins. I just have no idea what they want to do with Samoa Joe. I figured he would come in and be booked like a monster, but that has not been the case. A loss tonight, albeit a roll-up, as well as not appearing on WrestleMania makes me wonder if WWE needs to put him back with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. He is excellent, but we need more of Joe and WHY we should care about him.

Overall, this was a really good match. The moves and the back and forth action made this more than just an  average WWE RAW match.
