Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “Massive Main Event Preludes a New Champion”

I Hate To Say It…

I am over Bray Wyatt. Ever since he came into the WWE, he has been mysterious, enjoyable and better than anyone else on the mic. An athletic big man who has a gimmick unlike any other is simply drowning. He is drowning in his own words, words that we hear over and over and over and over again. By himself, Bray does not feel dangerous. His spoken words feel empty and his feud with Finn Balor has not done either man favors.

A match at No Mercy between the two means…what? Does it have any real importance? Do they really care about who looks better? The answers are a resounding no. I enjoy both men, but this feud is meaningless in the long run. Hell, Bray Wyatt has been meaningless for years and it is a damn shame. The boat has officially sailed away for me. I am not sure there is anything they can do for me to fully invest belief and time into Bray Wyatt becoming a top face or heel on any show.

Rollins and Ambrose vs. Anderson and Gallows

The champions looked to be beaten down early and often, with Anderson and Gallows using multiple kicks and boots to take out Ambrose. Dean was able to separate and kick Gallows to the corner, hitting a clothesline from the ropes. Seth gets the tag and picks up the pace, with a flying clothesline and a blockbuster. He takes out Gallows and then a sling blade. A hurricanranna from the top rope, tossing Anderson into Cesaro and a roll-up lets the champions escape. Anderson and Gallows attack after and the two heel teams brawl.

I liked the edge Anderson and Gallows had here and think they need to be booked as faces. The crowd wants to see them succeed and they are too talented in the ring to NOT be used on a weekly basis. Let them have a change, align with Finn and give them a breath of fresh air. Also, Seth and Dean continue to click on pretty much every level. It makes sense why WWE would call upon them to continue to solidify a talented tag team division.
