Alisha Edwards Wants To Prove Herself, Prove She Earned Her Spot In TNA

Alisha Edwards wants to do even more in TNA Wrestling.

Despite being a veteran in the TNA Wrestling locker room, Alisha Edwards feels that she still has so much to prove. During a recent interview with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, Edwards opened up about her motivation to keep moving forward in TNA.

“I just want to prove that I earned my spot,” Edwards said. “Not just as a manager, but as a wrestler. I’ve been with TNA since 2017 and my matches… I haven’t had many matches, but I literally think I have proven myself. And anything that’s been thrown at me, I make sure that I do my best. And… I create my own opportunities at this point so… I mean, I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to keep the momentum going and I think just having the boys [Eddie Edwards, Moose, and Brian Myers] behind me is a support system that I needed, and the confidence that I needed to just make sure.”

“I’m just doing what I need to do to get whatever I want. And if that means, tag titles, if that means go after Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Title, then that’s what I’m gonna do… Or both of them [The System can get both sets of the Knockouts Championships, the Knockouts Tag Team titles and the Knockouts World Title.] I am coming for it all. I’m coming for it all.”

While she has yet to capture the TNA Knockouts Championship, Edwards now reigns as one-half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. She and Masha Slamovich defeated Dani Luna and Jody Threat to win these titles at TNA Under Siege in early May.
