Tarlee Recalls ‘Fantastic’ In-Ring Moment With Victoria At 2024 HER Event

Tarlee reflects on one of her recent celebrations.

At the HER event, Tarlee defeated five other women to secure a future shot at the OPW Women’s Championship. It’s what happened after her win though, that was perhaps the true highlight of Tarlee’s night

On this particular occasion, Tarlee competed in the first-ever Victoria Classic, named after former WWE Women’s Champion Victoria (aka Lisa Marie Varon). As such, Victoria intently watched the action from ringside while also serving as a special guest commentator. Upon Tarlee’s victory, Victoria then joined her in the ring celebrate, and showered her with praise. During a recent interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Tarlee recalled this surreal moment.

“You could see it on my face, I was just like fangirling essentially,” Tarlee said. “I didn’t know she was going to come in afterwards. I didn’t know what she was going to say or anything like that. Then she’s looking me dead in the eyes, and she’s like, ‘I’m just so proud of you.’ I was like ‘Please don’t do this, we’re on TV, I’m gonna cry. We could say this backstage,’ But honestly, it was fantastic.”

“I got to meet Victoria a couple years back for BCW. It was initially the first time I met her. She wrestled Kellyanne on that show. She was absolutely lovely back then, and she’s absolutely lovely now still. She’s one of the most humble, wholesome people I’ve ever met. I think one of the main things we all kept saying was like every single person Mickie James, Alicia Fox, Victoria, every single person was just so humble and so lovely and just amazingly sweet. We were saying they didn’t need to be, but they were. It was, again, just an amazing experience.”

As of this writing, Tarlee has yet to cash in on her OPW Women’s Championship match. If and when she does, though, she will likely come face-to-face with Erika Reid, who successfully defended the title against Lizzy Evo later on the HER show.
