Talk about career turning moments. Becky Lynch had all the momentum and earned a SmackDown Women’s title match against Carmella at SummerSlam (by beating her, no less). Charlotte returned from injury and just forced her way into the title picture and in the match, it seemed like she stole the victory from Becky Lynch as well.
A frustrated Becky Lynch snapped and turned on Charlotte, leading to the crowd erupting in approval. It also sparked up a lot of talk on social media, with fans angry at the decision to turn Becky Lynch heel despite being a clear fan favorite among the two. It got the opposite reaction than desired, as fans began to cheer Becky Lynch louder every week.
