#4.) Trolling Chicago

After Royal Rumble 2014, there were multiple reports that CM Punk had walked out of WWE, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter then reporting that his return was a certainty (he later admitted that his source was lied to). On March 3rd, a month before WrestleMania 30, CM Punk’s music hit in his hometown of Chicago, only for Paul Heyman, his former manager to come out.

He then used the space to gain more heat for himself (and pouring it onto Lesnar as well), blaming the fans for CM Punk’s unexpected departure. Little mention is made of the promo but Heyman called it one of the easiest promos of his life. It must have been like shooting fish in a barrel as he trolled the crowd, making them believe that he would give them answers for Punk’s departure.
