#3.) Ric Flair vs ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage – WrestleMania VIII

Ric Flair won the 1992 Royal Rumble, becoming WWF Champion for the first time within months of joining the WWF. It would lead to a collision course with Randy Savage, who came out of retirement the previous year. It was quite a fascinating storyline, with Flair claiming that Miss Elizabeth “was his before he was Savage’s”.

It was a grudge match at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship, but ultimately, WWE chose to go with Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice in a non-title match. Ultimately, that was because of the return of The Ultimate Warrior, but Flair was denied of a WrestleMania main event.
