#2.) Edge

Edge established one of the most legendary careers of the modern era. He was the one who coined the term “Done it all, won it all”. And indeed, The Rated R-Superstar achieved every accolade there was to achieve in WWE, from winning the first-ever Money in the Bank to main eventing WrestleMania.

With 11 world championships to his name and multiple other accolades, Edge went from being the most hated man in pro wrestling to a beloved fan favorite. It was only fitting that he retired as World Champion. Like Austin, spinal stenosis would be the end of his career.

He bid the WWE Universe a surprise farewell a few weeks after WrestleMania, with Edge and the entire WWE universe visibly emotional over the shocking news of his retirement. Edge went out a legend and will always remain one.
