#4.) Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H – Backlash

You may have thought we were referring to their WrestleMania match, but their rematch a month later was no less impressive. In front of Chris Benoit’s home country crowd in Edmonton, Canada, he had a rematch of the WrestleMania 20 main event. This time,  he walked in as World Heavyweight Champion, more confident than ever. The mannerisms of Benoit from the start portrayed him as a cocky but confident World Champion.

And as the best World Champions do, they back it up. In a grueling half-hour contest, Benoit came close on many occasions to losing the title. This time around, he submitted Shawn Michaels to retain his title. The reaction was as though the Stanley Cup was won.
