#2.) The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels – Badd Blood

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels went to war in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match – one that’s still considered the best HIAC match of all time. It’s hard to disagree because the build, the match, and the finish was exceptional. It was a #1 contenders match to decide Bret Hart’s WWF title opponent at Survivor Series (which would turn out to be the Montreal Screwjob).

The two proved to have incredible chemistry, nearly 12 years before their classic WrestleMania encounter (which people consider the greatest WrestleMania match ever). They could do no wrong and the finish of the match saw Kane make his shocking debut. It’s hard to argue that there was any better debut in WWE history, as The Big Red Monster ripped the Cell door open and decimated The Undertaker, allowing Michaels to get the win.
