About a month after defeating Styles for the title, he would have a rematch against him at the Sacrifice PPV. The story they told was incredible. Styles was always an elite level competitor but in the ring, RVD with his actions told Styles “What you can do, I can do better”. And RVD took it to Styles in a way that nobody had before.
He was equal and better than The Phenomenal One in terms of his high-flying action and he managed to outsmart Styles into retaining the TNA World Heavyweight title.
