#2.) Jinder Mahal

This is perhaps the most bizarre one on the list. Jinder Mahal was a jobber when he was brought back in 2016 and suddenly, post-WrestleMania 33, he was moved over to SmackDown Live. For some reason, WWE decided that with the need to expand to the Indian market, they needed an Indian star and Mahal was the answer.

Unfortunately, they incorrectly pushed him, making him go from jobber to main eventer in one week rather than organically building him up over the course of the next year or two. Had that happened, we could have seen Mahal fulfill his potential at a later date. However, they were quick to put the WWE title on him and he held it for a whopping 6 months before dropping it to AJ Styles.

In that time, he somehow became SmackDown’s top heel.
