The Scorpion King lead role was offered to The Rock, it would be a game changer. In his very first time being in a lead role, he was paid a whopping $5.5 million, which set the Guinness World Record for the highest salary for anyone that was a first-time top-billed actor.
His success with The Scorpion King would see the beginning of his transition out of WWE and into Hollywood. WWE fans weren’t exactly happy about it, but that didn’t really matter in the bigger picture of things.
