#4.) Cut Michael Hayes‘ hair on the “Plane ride from hell”
If you’re not familiar with the infamous “plane ride from hell” story, we’ll explain it in brief. In 2002, the roster was returning from a PPV in the UK and was in a seven-hour flight back to the United States. It seemed that a lot of the superstars had consumed far too much alcohol for their own good, resulting in a series of mishaps. Some of them include Brock Lesnar and Curt Hennig wrestling for real in the plane, which could reportedly have led to a crash. The two were eventually separated by the other superstars and management and Hennig was later released as the blame was placed on him.
Goldust had an incident with Terri Runnels whereas Michael Hayes got into a physical altercation with JBL after heavy drinking. Waltman had reportedly chopped Hayes’ mullet off, with many superstars seemingly feeling that the road agent deserved it.
