Alex McCarthy of GiveMeSport did a brief sit-down interview with Elias and asked The Drifter about potentially being influenced by the 2003 version of “Hollywood” Rock where he’d show up to have his solo in-ring guitar sessions. Elias was quick to shoot down such comparisons, saying The Rock did cover songs and took the opportunity to plug his album of original artistry:
