Miz says Paige warned him that he must be professional tonight. Miz introduces AJ Styles. Miz asks Styles how his family is doing. Styles gets in Miz’s face. Miz says he understands what Styles was going through. Miz gives Daniel Bryan a less than enthusiastic introduction. Styles and Bryan shake hands. Miz goes nuts because no one wants to see respect between opponents. Bryan asks Miz if he wants to talk about their match from Super Show-Down. Bryan says he promises it won’t take long. Miz takes Styles words and says Styles thinks he better than everyone, including Bryan. Bryan says that isn’t what Styles said but Bryan is glad if that’s what Styles thinks. Miz will never understand this but Bryan wants to fight worthy competition. Styles deserves the right to think that. Bryan says he knows he can beat Styles. Styles says it’s not like Bryan has faced anyone phenomenal since he returned from injury. Bryan calls Miz the “two-minute man”.
Bryan says he came back for his dream but never told us what that dream was. Bryan’s dream that he was fighting for was to win back his WWE Championship. The only thing standing in the way of Bryan’s dream is Styles. Styles and Bryan get in each other’s face. Styles says he isn’t moving. Not for Bryan, not for anybody. Miz says finally something interesting. Styles says he has a question for Bryan. Styles asks how good it feels to punch Miz in the face. Miz goes nuts and says Bryan stole Miz’s world title shot. Miz says he demanded a rematch but Paige wouldn’t give it to him. Miz claims his shoulder was up during the pin. Miz says winning with a small package is lame. Miz calls Styles another Bryan just with a southern accent. Styles is the reason the WWE Championship is irrelevant and doesn’t headline PPV. Miz says it doesn’t matter who wins, he’s got next. Miz tells Styles he has to face the man who beat Bryan last week: Shelton Benjamin
