James Ellsworth made his IMPACT Wrestling debut, accepting Eli Drake‘s open challenge at Bound For Glory. While Drake’s open challenge was specific towards ‘New Yorkers only’, Ellsworth claimed that he ‘dated a girl from Staten Island and lived in her basement’, giving him a legitimate reason in accepting the challenge. He was quickly defeated after by Drake after taking two Gravy Trains.
This is Ellsworth’s first televised appearance since July 24, where he was fired by SmackDown Live general manager, Paige:
