IMPACT Wrestling Rebounds With New Timeslot Ratings High

IMPACT Wrestling Viewership

IMPACT Wrestling might just be back. Last night’s show was IMPACT’s highest rated since being moved to the dreaded 10PM timeslot by POP.

According to ShowBuzzDaily, IMPACT scored an impressive 129,000 viewers, which is significantly higher than last week’s 105,000 viewers. IMPACT’s first first show after the timeslot change drew under 100,000 viewers and the ratings have stayed near that mark since, so this can be seen as a positive turn of events for the Thursday evening staple.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider recently ported that IMPACT may be looking to move on from POP, “We’ve heard the company has been looking for a potential new TV partner.  Pop moving them to 10 PM can’t be seen as anything but a major step backwards in the relationship between the two sides.”

Despite the good news for IMPACT’s recent viewership, the company still has a ways to go. IMPACT was ranked as the 143rd (out of 150) top rated original cable telecast for Thursday, sandwiched between USA Women’s Soccer & Nick Jr.’s Rainbow Rangers.
