Former IMPACT Wrestling Star Rebel Involved In Angle With The Great Khali’s Wrestling Promotion In India

The Great Khali‘s Continental Wrestling Entertainment promotion was involved in the news in India after former IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Rebel was involved in an angle where she attacked Bollywood star Rakhi Sawant.

Rebel was in a dance-off with actress and reality television star Rakhi Sawant, but the dance-off ended with Rebel bodyslamming Rakhi in a worked angle. Sawant posted the following on Instagram after taking part in the worked angle:

While local media often presents wrestling angles in India as real-life and non-scripted incidents, Sawant claims she was injured by the attack seen in the video. Sawant refers to Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta in several of the Instagram posts, who she recently attempted to sue after accusing her of rape. Sawant is claiming Rebel was hired by Dutta to intentionally harm her, which resulted in her being bedridden and in a lot of pain, even resulting in a visit from The Great Khali as seen in the video updates she’s been posting on social media:
